During the academic year Wetherby Kensington supports a number of charities. Our first charity event this year was to raise money for Jeans for Genes. Jeans for Genes is a national charity that supports children with genetic disorders.
On Friday 22nd September the boys came to school wearing their jeans. The boys had been asked to bring in a donation and all monies raised went towards helping this worthwhile charity. During assembly the boys were visited by a representative of the charity. This enabled them what the charity does and how the donations are helping them with their work.
The boys raised an amazing £800 for this fabulous charity. Thank you so much to all of the Wetherby boys and parents for their support.
