Sports Update – WKS v Eaton House

WKS Y3 vs Eaton House

On Monday 14th October Year 3 visited Battersea Park to play against Eaton House in some friendly football matches.

The dragons beat their opponents 3 – 1, a team who last year we lost and drew too. Robbie somehow managed to score directly from a corner. The other two goals were from Captain Zach, with a bottom corner finish and a rocket of a free kick into the top corner. A great performance by all involved.

The All Blacks lost their match 3 – 0 and the Springboks narrowly lost 2 -1. Andrey scored their single goal but Man of the Match award goes to Alexander for his outstanding contribution to the team. The Wallabies were not at the races on this occasion, losing 6 – 0. Marcus tried his very best throughout and was our Man of the Match but the rest of the team have a lot of hard work to do.

Azzurri were involved in a thrilling game. They unluckily came away with a 3 -2 loss. This however was a scor to be proud of as they dominated the entire game and were constantly trying to spread out and pass to their team mates. Lucas scored our 2 goals but all boys involved deserve a mention for their efforts – well done Ned, Jasper, Daniel, Talraj, Zachary and Lucas.

The final result was the best of the day, with the mighty Pumas winning 7 – 1 in a very dominant performance. Arthur C scored a great goal and also made an amazing save whilst in goal. Felix scored two and Man of the Match Alessandro scored an amazing four goals. He was on fire. Special mention to Alexandros for his brilliant defensive display and the rest of the team – Adrien G and Roman. Well done the Pumas.
