School Destinations

Boys at Wetherby Kensington can sit 7+ (Year 2) and / or 8+ (Year 3) examinations for entrance to their next schools. These examinations usually take place in January in the spring term, however some schools will set exam dates to be towards the end of the autumn term. Each boy at Wetherby Kensington has the opportunity to progress through to Wetherby Prep School.

Boys currently at Wetherby School Kensington will have priority to places at Wetherby Prep in Year 4. Parents need to complete a transfer form and the boys will have an assessment day during the spring term in Year 3. The advantages of historical data and knowledge of the boys helps enormously when moving from one school to another. There is no obligation for boys to go onto the Prep School from Wetherby School Kensington, but it is amazing that Wetherby Kensington can offer many boys choose to continue their education at Wetherby.

We will also feed into Chepstow House, Kings College Junior School, Latymer Prep, Ludgrove, St Paul’s Juniors, St Philips, Sussex House, Thomas’, Westminster Cathedral Choir School and Westminster Under.

We are incredibly proud of all of our boys who sat exams this year. They have been true Wetherby Ambassadors and have really risen to the challenges that these exams put before them.
