Living Eggs at Wetherby Kensington

We have had a few fluffy friends join us in Reception over the last few weeks! The team at Wetherby Kensington have been incubating 10 chicken eggs, 9 of which hatched successfully! The boys in Reception have loved watching the hens go from eggs to chicks, learning about their life cycle and having lots of time to cuddle them in their classrooms. The chick’s even went to stay with Mrs Hennessy over the weekend in her house! After two weeks, the chicks get collected and returned to the farm and the boys were really sad to see them go. It was a great experience for all!
