Jeans for Genes Day

Jeans for Genes Day is the annual fundraising campaign for Genetic Disorders UK, the national charity that supports individuals and families affected by a genetic disorder.

Monies raised on Jeans for Genes Day fund the work of the charity and provide grants to organisations for projects that aim to transform the lives of children with genetic disorders.

At Wetherby Kensington this year we encouraged boys to support this charity by wearing their jeans to school. Boys also decorated a pair of jeans in their art lessons with Miss Ferguson, and some even designed their own posters for around the school. Thank you so much for all of the kind donations. I am thrilled to be able to say that we raised £1,433.00 for this amazing charity!!
