After exam week the Year 2’s paid a visit to Hampton Court Palace, the old home of Henry VIII. The trip was a great success all round! The boys had a tour of the palace and then took part in a ‘Tudor Times’ workshop, where they were given the opportunity to find out about life in the Tudor court, and it make comparisons with their own lives. The boys were also introduced to everyday historical items and learnt about Tudor clothes. The highlight of the session had to be the Tudor dance that the boys learnt and performed!
