ReadForGood ‘READATHON’

From Monday 8th March – Wednesday 24th March Wetherby Kensington are taking part in their very first ‘readathon’!  This challenge encourages boys to ignite their love for reading, by raising money for a fantastic cause – ReadForGood. ReadForGood is an amazing initiative that recognises the need for books and storytellers in local hospitals. With the money generated by the boys reading, new books are delivered to paediatric wards in local hospitals every 6 weeks.

The boys at Wetherby Kensington will be sponsored by friends and family, to read as much as they can – the more they read the more money they make. Readathon urges pupils to read anything and everything, from books to blogs, comics to classics. There are no rules, no ‘expected reading age’ books, no numbering systems and no limits! It really is inclusive!
